Office Automation - Aladesc
We searched for a long time to find a comprehensive Office Management package that enabled users to do everything you would want to do with MS Outlook, MS CRM or MS Exchange, but couldn’t, normally because it just couldn’t do it, but also because it often costs far too much to be of any benefit. We liked it so much, we now use it as our Office Management software.
Aladesc is based on the principle of sharing. So often businesses fail to share vital emails and data and islands of address and contact data build up around the business. Aladesc repairs this business process malfunction. There is only one set of data housed on a shared resource. Users can log in from any client machine and see their portion. How much you share so users can view it (activities, diaries, letters, etc) comes down to configuration.
Some key features
Keeping in the Loop – Aladesc comes with many features to keep users engaged wherever they may be. There is the 'Go-Mobile' function where you can take your Aladesc on the road with you. The built in IMAP enables you to use a PDA or email client outside the office and know any message sent will include corporate cover. You can even access your email from a browser from any external point. Everything to make your life easier
Completeness – Spam filter, Auto replies, SMS, Faxing, Bulletin Boards, Sales Cases, Problem Cases, Letters, Activity Notes, Alerts, Reminders, Agreements and more – all working in a collaborative fashion. Imagine clicking on a client file and seeing all emails and activity notes with that client from all users. Create a letter. Limit the letter to certain categories or time period, so only particular clients or contacts can be offered a particular
letter within a set period. See a copy of every letter you've ever sent. Attach files to each Client for a comprehensive Client ‘file'. Go back and say 'what has anybody from my company said to this client in the last three months'. Forget the isolation of personal files tucked away on client machines. Really share data.
Configuration – set Aaladesc to not create activities if an email belongs to a certain domain. Right click on an email and create a rule off it to move any email from that person to a public folder. Let a user have three different signatures with different reply from email addresses. Set up a category and only let certain users see it to categories data. Send out an alter to one users because another users did not answer an email within 1hr.
Create a one contact company and have unlimited contacts attached to it. Allow each contact to have multiple email addresses. Search for any Agreement of Network Support that expires in the next 60days for salesman David. There are many settings and situations that Aladesc can handle, but it does it from a standpoint of sharing.
